The word ñaupa is quechua, a language spoken by people in regions of the Andes in South America.  The word means that which was, and that which will come. But not that which is. For me this concept implies an opening. By putting together that which was and that which will come, a zone of imposibility is created. This zone holds the potential for the becoming of now. It´s a zone of contradictions.
